Chiringuito azul is a family Business established in 1980
It was founded by Mrs Antonia Conesa, current manager, and her husband Mr Francisco Valero, who was a fisherman, as fishing was and still remains the main economic activity and symbol of identity of our town.
We are a traditional family of fishermen from Santa Pola.
Mr Francisco Valero used to alternate the hard fishermen’s work in winter and the Chiringuito business in summer. With the help from his family and applying the secrets of the sailors’ traditional cuisine, he established the line of work that we have kept since then, always using fresh sea products as our main raw material.
Nowadays we are three generations working together with pride and admiration of still serving typical fishermen’s cuisine.
